How to Maintain your Brinsea Warranty

Protect Your Brinsea Warranty – Read Before Use!

Brinsea offers the longest warranty period of any incubator brand in Australia, however it is important to follow the correct care procedures to keep your coverage valid.

Actions That May Void Your Warranty

To help you avoid common mistakes, please take note of these two key points:

1. Motor Maintenance Between Seasons

Brinsea incubators require the motor to be dried when not in use to prevent internal rust. This simple maintenance step is essential for ensuring long-term performance and is best done before any long periods of non-use/storage.
Information written and provided by Brinsea on how to maintain Relevant links to your model incubator are provided below - don’t skip reading this!

2. Handle with Care

Warranty does not cover damage caused by mishandling, dropping, or tampering with the unit.
Opening the protective casing using incorrect tools or attempting repairs without guidance from Brinsea Australia will also void your warranty.

Important:
All Brinsea products come with specific care, cleaning, and service instructions. Do not attempt to clean or repair components unless you’ve reviewed the correct procedures—either through Brinsea Australia or their official online documentation. Annual servicing is also available (at extra cost - please contact us for more information).
