Aussie Chook Supplies (ABN 46 542 774 497) offers home or semi-commercial poultry owners a range of supplies for the upkeep and care of their poultry through our Website –

These Terms of Sale, together with our Privacy Policy, and Website Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of our online shop, as well as poultry supplies and equipment ordered via our Website.

By ordering products from our online shop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions.

Terms of Sale

  1. Purchasing supplies
    1. You may buy products offered online by Aussie Chook Supplies by navigating the catalogue and shopping cart available on our Website.
    2. To purchase products via our Website, you must be at least 18 years of age.
    3. By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and that all information you provide is accurate, complete, and not misleading.

    Product Images

    1. We have made every attempt to show textures, appearances and colours of items available for sale as accurately as possible on the Aussie Chook Supplies Website.
    2. Product images may vary from the delivered goods due to changes to supplier packaging, product alterations (including ingredient substitution and reformulation), supplier rebranding, or changes to product dimensions / size / weight.
    3. Product images may vary from the delivered Goods depending on your monitor, settings and computer equipment.
    4. Unless otherwise stated, any additional goods and accessories styled or shown in a Product image are for display purposes only. They are not included in the listed price.
    5. Please ensure you read the goods title and description before purchasing anything from our Website.

    Availability of goods

    1. All orders are accepted subject to availability.
    2. Aussie Chook Supplies will endeavour to ensure that products listed are available for delivery.
    3. If Aussie Chook Supplies are unable to fulfil your order or a part of your order, we will notify you within five (5) working days after you complete your order.
    4. If your order is rejected or cancelled by Aussie Chook Supplies, we will refund in full all amounts you have paid for your selected items (including any postage paid).
    5. Alternatively, we may contact you to advise of any delay in delivery of your order.
    6. You may elect to proceed with your order based on a delayed delivery date, cancel your order or select an alternative item of equal or lesser value.
    7. If an alternative product of lesser value is nominated as a replacement for an out of stock or delayed product, Aussie Chook Supplies will provide a refund for the price difference between the originally ordered item and the cheaper alternative nominated, via the payment method used in the original order.
    8. If you do not vary or cancel your order within five (5) business days of notification, you are deemed to have accepted the delay.
    9. We reserve the right to limit the sale of goods to reasonable household quantities.
  2. Prices 
    1. All prices are in Australian dollars.
    2. All prices exclude delivery charges and customs duty and other taxes, if applicable unless otherwise stated.
    3. Prices include Australian Goods & Services Tax (GST) unless your billing address is outside Australia
    4. GST will be applied to all purchases delivered within Australia regardless of where the Customer is located.
    5. All prices are subject to change without notice.
  3. Payment
    1. The full payment for your order (excluding delivery charges for large or bulk items) will be deducted from your chosen payment method on completion of your order.
    2. Large or Bulk items
    3. Delivery fees for large and bulk items are quoted separately.
    4. Once you have agreed with the quoted delivery fees, fees are to be settled via Direct Deposit.
    5. Payment for items is accepted by PayPal, Afterpay, Zip pay, Stripe, Square or Direct Deposit.
    6. We do not retain or store any customer credit card details.
  4. Shipping, Delivery and Pick-up
    1. Delivery address
      1. You must enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering.
      2. PayPal
      3. It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address is identical to the address recorded by PayPal.
      4. If your delivery address provided to us is different from that recorded by PayPal, your items will be delivered to the PayPal address.
      5. Aussie Chook Supplies will not be responsible for any loss where the delivery address provided to us is different from that provided on your PayPal account.
      6. If your goods are returned because an incorrect or alternative address from your PayPal address was provided to us , you will be required to pay shipping costs to the correct address before the release of your item/s.

    Delivery timeframe

    1. The majority of items will be posted within 1-3 business days of receiving cleared funds.
    2. If you make a purchase over the weekend or on a public holiday, we will receive your payment on the next business day and ship within 1-3 business days.
    3. Delivery times depend on the delivery service provider.
    4. To ensure a faster delivery time after your order is placed, we reserve the right to use a delivery company (other than the Courier) that is deemed most appropriate based on goods, risk and suitable delivery cost and timeframe.
    5. Since Covid-19 began in Feb/March 2020, Express Post overnight guarantees have been voided for a variety of reasons. This means that Aussie Chook Supplies cannot guarantee any delivery timeframes for orders sent using this service, as they are, quite simply, out of our hands and we have no influence on their service deliverability. Please see Australia Post' page on Delivery Speeds & Coverage for current information on how quickly you can reasonably expect to receive your order once it has been dispatched. 

    Shipping within Australia

    1. Orders (excluding large and bulk items) are shipped via Australia Post or Transdirect. Delivery fee is calculated online on the ordering page upon checkout.
    2. Any customs or duty fees are your sole responsibility and payable by you.
    3. It is your responsibility to inform us promptly if an order does not arrive by emailing

    Authority to Leave

    1. Prior to Covid-19, you were provided with the following options when your purchase order is delivered if you are not home to accept your delivery:
      1. Authority to Leave
      2. Card to pick up your delivery from Australia Post or Courier Depot.
        Aussie Chooks Supplies is not responsible for theft or damage to items that are delivered under an “Authority to Leave.”
      3. We encourage you to communicate with us regarding the best delivery address and time for prompt, safe and accurate delivery.

    Incorrect delivery address

      1. You have the option to choose a different delivery address than your billing address at checkout.
      2. You are required to complete the ‘Order Notes’ section when choosing a different delivery address. Please note: Information you enter into the “Order Notes” field is automatically transferred to the Courier. Aussie Chooks Supplies is not responsible for any inaccuracies of information keyed into the “Order Notes” fields by you.
      3. Delivery instructions you provide are clearly printed on our labels via our automated labelling system.
      4. It is your responsibility to contact the Courier directly to resolve any delivery issue.
      5. If redelivery is not possible from the Courier depot or the Post Office, it is your responsibility to arrange for the pick-up of the items at your cost entirely.
      6. Aussie Chook Supplies does not accept any liability for compensation or redelivery costs associated with the redelivery of your items.
      7. Aussie Chook Supplies will resend parcels at our cost if the incorrect delivery of the original items is found to be our fault.

    Return to Sender (abandoned parcels)

    1. The following will be treated as abandoned parcels and may be returned to us:
      1. Parcels with an incorrect delivery address;
      2. Parcels with a failed mail forwarding service;
      3. Parcels not picked up from Depot, Australia Post Offices or Collection Points
      4. Unless you have agreed to pay a redelivery fee, once items are back in our possession, the items will be treated as abandoned and no refunds will be provided.

    Missing or Undelivered Parcels

      1. All parcels sent via Australia Post have a tracking code that is provided to you via email for tracking your order.
      2. If your order is marked as delivered and you have not received the items, you are required to complete the following to locate your order:
      3. Check with your neighbours, family members or front office (if applicable) to see if the package was left there.
      4. Contact Christine at within seven(7) days of the marked delivery date after inquiring with your family, neighbours and post office to lodge a lost item report and provide the following information in your email.
        1. order number;
        2. Courier selected; and
        3. Tracking number.
      5. If your item has been delivered and you believe it has been stolen, you are required to do the following:
        1. Request a photo of the delivered parcel from Australia Post and forward to proof of delivery.
        2. Include your order number, name and delivery address in your email.
        3. Lodge a police report for the missing/stolen item and forward the Police Report copy to
      6. Aussie Chook Supplies will replace missing /stolen items with proof of delivery and a Police Report at our cost.
      7. If an order is lost or damaged during delivery by Australia Post, Aussie Chook Supplies will replace the lost or damaged item and reship to the Customer at Aussie Chook Supplies Cost.
      8. Lost orders due to an incorrect address at checkout will not be refunded.

    Incomplete or damaged orders

      1. In the rare event your order is incomplete or damaged, please contact us at so we can work with you to rectify the issue.
      2. You are required to keep all original packaging and provide photographs of the order and damage so your claim can be assessed promptly.
      3. Aussie Chook Supplies will cover any costs of return and re-shipping for orders where any issue with the order is our fault.


    1. Pick-up of items currently stocked is available by appointment only at a time mutually agreed upon by both parties.
    2. Whilst we accept cash payments and on-site credit card payments for items collected from our location at Cranbourne West (in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria), online ordering and payment is preferred before contacting to arrange a pick-up date and time.

  5. Returns Policy


    It is important to Aussie Chook Supplies that you are satisfied with your purchase of our products. The following conditions are strictly applied to all returns and requests for refund or exchange.

    1. All return products for either refund or exchange, as the case may be, must be in new and unused condition, with complete packaging and tags still intact excluding approved warranty claims.

    Change of mind

    1. You may apply for a partial refund for change of mind.
    2. If you change your mind after your order has been dispatched, any refund will be assessed and calculated when the items have been returned at your cost to Aussie Chook Supplies.
    3. Items returned to Aussie Chook Supplies for a partial refund must be sent by Australia Post with tracking number details forwarded to us.
    4. Customers who request a refund for change of mind will be refunded their full amount less 15% administration and handling fee.
    5. An administration and handlingfee of 15% fee will also apply to items on backorder/pre-order/or under dropshipping arrangements.
    6. Requests for returns and refunds must be made in writing by the Customer and emailed to


    1. All exchange requests must be received within 14 days of your purchase. Items must be returned unused/original condition, with no damage or signs of use.

      6. We will respond to your exchange request within three (3) business days of receipt of your email with instructions on how to proceed further with your request.

    Address for the return of items

    1. Please seal your item using appropriate protective postage satchels and return by Australia Post ensuring that you use a trackable label and service.

    1. Aussie Chook Supplies does not accept responsibility for items posted to us by you.
    2. Please ensure all requested information is contained within the parcel so we can identify you as the correct Customer.

    Postage fee management

    1. Aussie Chook Supplies will reimburse you for the costs of return postage where we have made an error (e.g. despatching an incorrect item or to an incorrect postal address) using standard Australian Post service.
    2. As per our refund policy above, we are happy to refund you minus 15% admin fee; however, you will be liable for return postage fees.

    Faulty or defective items

    1. Aussie Chook Supplies reserves the right to inspect and assess the condition of returned merchandise that appears to have been used before processing a refund or exchange.
    2. We will happily provide a full refund and reimburse you for the cost of return shipping via standard Australia Post where the item is deemed to have a genuine manufacturers fault or defect under the following conditions:
      1. You must notify Aussie Chook Supplies immediately upon noticing any defects or faults within seven (7) days of receiving the order and provide your name, order number and details of the defects or faults and a photo of the item and defect or fault.
      2. Items, the subject of a refund request, once received by Aussie Chook Supplies, will be examined for faults or defects. You will receive a notification from us about whether we agree that the items are faulty or defective within 48 hours of the receipt of items by us.
      3. If deemed faulty by Aussie Chook Supplies, a replacement item will be shipped where possible (subject to stock availability), or a refund will be issued.
      4. Returns will be processed within ten (10) business days from the day the return arrives at Aussie Chook Supplies Office.

    Refunds in General

      1. When the returned item is received, examined and a refund is approved, an email will be sent to the Customer confirming refund approval.
      2. Please allow 3-5 working days for your return item to be examined and approved.
      3. Please allow 5-10 days for your refund to appear using the same method that your payment was made (i.e. If you paid using PayPal, your refund will appear in your PayPal account).

    Refunds for products in the Peck Block/Muesli Tray range

    1. Due to the unique ingredients in Allfarm Maintenance , Allfarm Salt Bush,Tough Egg and Healthy Chook Peck Blocks which may cause the item to crumble or break apart, refunds are not available unless these items are returned in full solid block form in original sealed packaging.
    2. As per the information on the website, the formula for these products are NOT a hard peck block for entertainment purposes.
  6. Specific Product Warranty Policies
    Brinsea Products
    1. All Brinsea electrical products (Incubators, EcoGlow Safety brooders and TLC brooders) purchased online from Aussie Chook Supplies (or Suburban Chooks as we were previously known) after 1st February 2015 are covered by a three year Warranty Period.
    2. The Warranty Period begins from when the item was dispatched from Aussie Chook Supplies (as all items are sent with tracking numbers attached).
    3. If a manufacturers fault is identified during the Warranty Period, the unit may be repaired or replaced at Aussie Chook Supplies discretion, after consultation with Brinsea Australia to determine the cause of the fault.
    4. Please note that any Brinsea Products purchased from businesses other than Aussie Chook Supplies will not be covered under our Warranty including units purchased from other sellers on Amazon, eBay or any other provider.
    5. A warranty may only apply to a Brinsea product with a serial number purchased from Aussie Chook Supplies.
    6. Aussie Chook Supplies is not responsible for any Brinsea product received by you that does not contain a serial number.
    7. This Manufacturer’s Warranty supplements the rights to which you are entitled under Australian Consumer Law.
    8. To qualify for a Brinsea Warranty claim you are required to:
      1. Contact Aussie Chook Supplies with your serial number for the product and fault details before the expiry of the Warranty Period.
      2. Be the original purchaser of the product – you may be required to provide proof of purchase to validate your Warranty.
      3. Have used the Brinsea product for its proper purpose and stored it clean and in a dry place.
      4. Return the unit to Aussie Chook Supplies at your own cost. Repaired or replacement units will be sent back to you at Aussie Chook Supplies expense.
      5. This Warranty applies to working parts only.
      6. A refund will not be issued if the item has been damaged, however, caused, post-purchase.
      7. Complete machines will not be accepted without prior consultation agreement should only be returned with prior Agreement with Aussie Chook Supplies.

    ChickenGuard Products

    1. All ChickenGuard motors (purchased individually or as part of a Combo/Kit) purchased online from Aussie Chook Supplies (or Suburban Chooks as we were previously known) after 1st January 2018 are covered by a three-year Warranty Period.
    2. The Warranty Period begins from when the item is dispatched from Aussie Chook Supplies (as all items are sent with tracking numbers attached).
    3. If a manufacturer’s fault is identified during the Warranty Period, the unit may be repaired or replaced at Aussie Chook Supplies discretion, after consultation with ChickenGuard Australia and/or ChickenGuard UK to determine the cause of the fault.
    4. If the item is found to be a manufacturer’s fault, it will be repaired, or replaced, free of charge, subject to being within the 3-years Warranty Period.
    5. Please note that any ChickenGuard Products purchased elsewhere will not be covered under our Warranty including units purchased from other sellers on Amazon, eBay or any other provider.
    6. To qualify for ChickenGuard warranty claim you must:
      1. Contact Aussie Chook Supplies with your serial number for the product and date of purchase (to be confirmed via email) and fault details before the expiry of the Warranty Period.
      2. Be the original purchaser of the product – you may be required to provide proof of purchase to validate your Warranty.
      3. Have used the Chicken Coop Door Opener for its proper purpose and installed as per documented instructions.
      4. Return the unit to Aussie Chook Supplies at your own cost. Repaired or replacement units will be sent back to you Aussie Chook Supplies expense.
      5. This Warranty applies to working parts only.
      6. A refund will not be issued if the item has been damaged, however, caused, post-purchase.
      7. If you choose to modify your Chicken Guard unit without written approval from  ChickenGuard, the action will void your Warranty and any obligation on ChickenGuard to replace or repair your unit at the cost of ChickenGuard will become void.

    Faulty/Warranty Return Address

  7. Special offers/Specials/Sale items
    1. Aussie Chook Supplies may provide special offers from time to time.
    2. At any time, we may terminate any special offer without advance notice.
    3. If terminated, a special offer will continue to apply to products you ordered in good faith under these Terms before the special offer was terminated.
  8. Pre-orders
    1. From time to time, Aussie Chook Supplies may offer selected items for Pre-order. By placing a Pre-order, you understand and agree:
      1. If you purchase any In-stock item with a Pre-order item, your In-stock order will be held and despatched with the Pre-order item when it is received at our warehouse.
      2. The date of delivery will be an estimate only, and the delivery date is not guaranteed.
      3. You cannot cancel an order that includes a Pre-order.
      4. The order must be delivered to you before you can engage in any return, exchange or refund process under these Terms of Sale.
  9. Liability and waiver
    1. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
    2. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
    3. You are also entitled to have the products replaced if the products fail to be of acceptable quality, and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
    4. You may also be entitled to remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law if any services supplied by us to you fail to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
    5. To the extent legally permitted, Aussie Chook Supplies is not liable to you for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or consequential damages of any type whatsoever related to or arising from the supply of products or services.
    6. This exclusion and waiver of liability apply to all legal causes of action, including but not limited to contract, Warranty, or negligence.
    7. Where we refund you the amount of your order as provided in your Agreement with us under this Terms of Sale (less any amount you have agreed we may deduct, as described in these terms and conditions), you accept such refund is the total amount of our liability to you for all circumstances relating to the refund
  10. Force Majeure (events outside our control)
    1. A Force Majeure event is an event outside our control that delays or hinders our ability to perform our obligations under this Agreement.
    2. A Force Majeure event includes but is not limited to fire, flood, earthquake or similar natural disasters, riot, war, terrorism, civil strife, labour disputes or disturbances, industry-wide material or services shortages outside our reasonable control, an outbreak of pandemic disease, governmental regulations and boarded closures, communication, technology or utility failures, computer virus or unauthorised tampering.
    3. Aussie Chook Supplies is obliged to act reasonably to mitigate the effect of a Force Majeure event to perform its obligations under this Agreement.
    4. Aussie Chook Supplies shall not be deemed in breach of this Agreement for the suspension or delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations under this Agreement if delay or failure of performance result from Force Majeure events.
    5. Upon the occurrence of any Force Majeure Event, Aussie Chook Supplies shall notify the Customer of its inability to perform or of delay in supply or delivery. They shall propose the following at its discretion:
      1. revisions to the delivery of items or Services; or
      2. cancel the order with a credit amount paid for the order less any expenses without any further liability to the Customer.
    6. Where performance is impossible due to duration and effect of the Force Majeure event, Aussie Chook Supplies shall not be liable to the Customer for damages arising out of or relating to the suspension or termination of any of its obligations or duties under this Agreement.
  11. Dispute resolution
    1. Should a dispute arise regarding our service, we strongly encourage you to contact Aussie Chook Supplies at to seek a resolution.
    2. Any reasonable requests will be considered and Aussie Chook Supplies will attempt to resolve the dispute through alternative dispute resolution procedures, such as mediation or arbitration, as alternatives to litigation.
  12. Alterations
    1. We may alter these Terms from time to time by posting the modified version on our Website.
    2. You should visit the Website regularly to keep up to date with any alterations.
    3. In the case of an alteration, the altered Terms only apply to products ordered via the Website after the modification takes effect.
  • Entire Agreement
    These Terms of Sale together with the Website Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy set out the entire Agreement between you and us and supersede all prior communications.
  • Applicable law
    1. These Terms shall be construed under and governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia.
    2. You consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria to determine any matter or dispute which arises between you and Aussie Chook Supplies.
