If you continue to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy govern Aussie Chook Supplies’s relationship with you in relation to this website. If you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions, please do not use our website.

Aussie Chook Supplies (ABN 46 542 774 497) offers home or semi-commercial poultry owners a range of supplies for the upkeep and care of their poultry through our Website – www.aussiechooksupplies.com.au.

These Terms of Sale, together with our Privacy Policy, and Website Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of our online shop, as well as poultry supplies and equipment ordered via our Website.

By ordering products from our online shop, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Online Shopping Terms and Conditions.
 

1. Free Postage items (including Brinsea 28 & 56 egg incubators)

1.1

1.2  When a customer orders a Free Postage Items and items that normally require postage, you will NOT be charge postage on your free postage item but our postage calculator will charge postage for the other items. 
Where possible we will combine items to minimise postage costs. Aussie Chook Supplies will refund the difference between the postage paid at checkout and the costs charged to us by Australia Post if we are able to combine items.

2.1 Delivery address
You must enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering.

2.2 PayPal Purchaces
It is your responsibility to ensure the delivery address is identical to the address recorded by PayPal.
If your delivery address provided to us is different from that recorded by PayPal, your items will be delivered to the PayPal address.
Aussie Chook Supplies will not be responsible for any loss where the delivery address provided to us is different from that provided on your PayPal account.
If your goods are returned because an incorrect or alternative address from your PayPal address was provided to us, you will be required to pay shipping costs to the correct address before the release of your item/s.

2.3 The majority of items will be posted within 1-3 business days of receiving cleared funds.
If you make a purchase over the weekend or on a public holiday, we will receive your payment on the next business day and ship within 1-3 business days.
Delivery times depend on the delivery service provider.
To ensure a faster delivery time after your order is placed, we reserve the right to use a delivery company (other than the Courier) that is deemed most appropriate based on goods, risk and suitable delivery cost and timeframe.
Since Covid-19 began in Feb/March 2020, Express Post overnight guarantees have been voided by Australia Post for a variety of reasons. This means that Aussie Chook Supplies cannot guarantee any delivery timeframes for orders sent using this service, as they are, quite simply, out of our hands and we have no influence on their service deliverability. Please see Australia Post' page on Delivery Speeds & Coverage for current information on how quickly you can reasonably expect to receive your order once it has been dispatched.

As of January 2024, overnight guarantees of Express Post deliveries have still not been reinstated.
Orders (excluding large and bulk items) are shipped via Australia Post or Transdirect. Delivery fee is calculated online on the ordering page upon checkout.
Any customs or duty fees are your sole responsibility and payable by you.
It is your responsibility to inform us promptly if an order does not arrive by emailing accounts@aussiechooksupplies.com.au.
 
Prior to Covid-19, you were provided with the following options when your purchase order is delivered if you are not home to accept your delivery:
Authority to Leave
Card to pick up your delivery from Australia Post or Courier Depot.
Aussie Chooks Supplies is not responsible for theft or damage to items that are delivered under an “Authority to Leave.”
We encourage you to communicate with us regarding the best delivery address and time for prompt, safe and accurate delivery.
 
You have the option to choose a different delivery address than your billing address at checkout.
You are required to complete the ‘Order Notes’ section when choosing a different delivery address. Please note: Information you enter into the “Order Notes” field is automatically transferred to the Courier. Aussie Chooks Supplies is not responsible for any inaccuracies of information keyed into the “Order Notes” fields by you.
Delivery instructions you provide are clearly printed on our labels via our automated labelling system.
It is your responsibility to contact the Courier directly to resolve any delivery issue.
If redelivery is not possible from the Courier depot or the Post Office, it is your responsibility to arrange for the pick-up of the items at your cost entirely.
Aussie Chook Supplies does not accept any liability for compensation or redelivery costs associated with the redelivery of your items.
Aussie Chook Supplies will resend parcels at our cost if the incorrect delivery of the original items is found to be our fault.
 
The following will be treated as abandoned parcels and may be returned to us:
Parcels with an incorrect delivery address;
Parcels with a failed mail forwarding service;
Parcels not picked up from Depot, Australia Post Offices or Collection Points
Unless you have agreed to pay a redelivery fee, once items are back in our possession, the items will be treated as abandoned and no refunds will be provided.
 
All parcels sent via Australia Post have a tracking code that is provided to you via email for tracking your order.
If your order is marked as delivered and you have not received the items, you are required to complete the following to locate your order:
Check with your neighbours, family members or front office (if applicable) to see if the package was left there.
Contact Christine at enquiries@aussiechooksupplies.com.au within seven(7) days of the marked delivery date after inquiring with your family, neighbours and post office to lodge a lost item report and provide the following information in your email.
order number;
Courier selected; and
Tracking number.
If your item has been delivered and you believe it has been stolen, you are required to do the following:
Request a photo of the delivered parcel from Australia Post and forward to enquiries@aussiechooksupplies.com.auas proof of delivery.
Include your order number, name and delivery address in your email.
Lodge a police report for the missing/stolen item and forward the Police Report copy to enquiries@aussiechooksupplies.com.au
Aussie Chook Supplies will replace missing /stolen items with proof of delivery and a Police Report at our cost.
If an order is lost or damaged during delivery by Australia Post, Aussie Chook Supplies will replace the lost or damaged item and reship to the Customer at Aussie Chook Supplies Cost.
Lost orders due to an incorrect address at checkout will not be refunded.
 
In the rare event your Australia-based order is incomplete or damaged, please contact us at accounts@aussiechooksupplies.com.au so we can work with you to rectify the issue.
You are required to keep all original packaging and provide photographs of the order and damage so your claim can be assessed promptly.
Aussie Chook Supplies will cover any costs of return and re-shipping for orders where any issue with the order is our fault.
 
Pick-up of items currently stocked is available by appointment only at a time mutually agreed upon by both parties.
Whilst we accept cash payments and on-site credit card payments for items collected from our location in either Hastings or Cranbourne North (in the South Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne, Victoria), online ordering and payment is preferred before contacting to arrange a pick-up date and time.
For pick-up enquiries of any of the Aussie Chook Supplies range of products, including the pick-up address, please email enquiries@aussiechooksupplies.com.au.

International Orders 
 
You must enter the correct delivery address details at the time of ordering. We do not have the ability to check if your delivery address is correct. 
You have the option to choose a different delivery address than your billing address at checkout.
You are required to complete the ‘Order Notes’ section when choosing a different delivery address. Please note: Information you enter into the “Order Notes” field is automatically transferred to the Courier. Aussie Chooks Supplies is not responsible for any inaccuracies of information keyed into the “Order Notes” fields by you.
Delivery instructions you provide are clearly printed on our labels via our automated labelling system.
The majority of items will be posted within 1-3 business days of receiving cleared funds.

Any orders held by Customs and deemed as unable to be delivered/acceptable by your Border Security or by the relevant importation laws are not the responsibility of Aussie Chook Supplies.
Refunds back to your original payment method will only be made once the item has been returned to Aussie Chook Supplies by the relevant Border Security agency. 
Once a returned order is in the possession of Aussie Chook Supplies, customers will be informed via the email address supplied during the checkout process.
Refunds will only apply to the products only. No refunds will be made for postage paid.
It is your responsibility to inform us promptly if an order does not arrive or is rejected from entering the country by emailing accounts@aussiechooksupplies.com.au.
Delivery times are dependant on the delivery service provider (normally Australia Post for exporting to your delivery country) and your location within that country. Aussie Chook Supplies makes no guarantee about the delivery timeframes quoted on the Australia Post website as there are too many variables involved for us to do so.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
It is important to Aussie Chook Supplies that you are satisfied with your purchase of our products. The following conditions are strictly applied to all returns and requests for refund or exchange.

Refunds for products in the Peck Block/Muesli Tray range

All return products for either refund or exchange, as the case may be, must be in new and unused condition, with complete packaging and tags still intact excluding approved warranty claims.
 
You may apply for a partial refund for change of mind.
If you change your mind after your order has been dispatched, any refund will be assessed and calculated when the items have been returned at your cost to Aussie Chook Supplies.
Items returned to Aussie Chook Supplies for a partial refund must be sent by Australia Post with tracking number details forwarded to us.
Customers who request a refund for change of mind will be refunded their full amount less 15% administration and handling fee.
An administration and handling fee of 15% fee will also apply to items on backorder/pre-order/or under dropshipping arrangements.
Requests for returns and refunds must be made in writing by the Customer and emailed to accounts@aussiechooksupplies.com.au
 
All exchange requests must be received within 14 days of your purchase. Items must be returned unused/original condition, with no damage or signs of use.

We will respond to your exchange request within three (3) business days of receipt of your email with instructions on how to proceed further with your request.
 
Please seal your item using appropriate protective postage satchels and return by Australia Post ensuring that you use a trackable label and service.

Aussie Chook Supplies does not accept responsibility for items posted to us by you.
Please ensure all requested information is contained within the parcel so we can identify you as the correct Customer.
 
Aussie Chook Supplies will reimburse you for the costs of return postage where we have made an error (e.g. despatching an incorrect item or to an incorrect postal address) using standard Australian Post service.
As per our refund policy above, we are happy to refund you minus 15% admin fee; however, you will be liable for return postage fees.
 
Aussie Chook Supplies reserves the right to inspect and assess the condition of returned merchandise that appears to have been used before processing a refund or exchange.
We will happily provide a full refund and reimburse you for the cost of return shipping via standard Australia Post where the item is deemed to have a genuine manufacturers fault or defect under the following conditions:
You must notify Aussie Chook Supplies immediately upon noticing any defects or faults within seven (7) days of receiving the order and provide your name, order number and details of the defects or faults and a photo of the item and defect or fault.
Items, the subject of a refund request, once received by Aussie Chook Supplies, will be examined for faults or defects. You will receive a notification from us about whether we agree that the items are faulty or defective within 48 hours of the receipt of items by us.
If deemed faulty by Aussie Chook Supplies, a replacement item will be shipped where possible (subject to stock availability), or a refund will be issued.
Returns will be processed within ten (10) business days from the day the return arrives at Aussie Chook Supplies Office.
 
When the returned item is received, examined and a refund is approved, an email will be sent to the Customer confirming refund approval.
Please allow 3-5 working days for your return item to be examined and approved.
Please allow 5-10 days for your refund to appear using the same method that your payment was made (i.e. If you paid using PayPal, your refund will appear in your PayPal account).
